We had 16 golfers show up at Bent Tree for our second major of the year, and for the most part the weather cooperated. Until right at the end. Sorry Money, Ed, Bill and Maurice, I tried to hold it off. I’d like to thank all of those present for being so gracious and letting me have the win with my net 71, which I will say was one of the better rounds I’ve ever played given the difficulty of the course. Lenny tried to take me out with his net 72, but had to settle for second. Jim Barber shot a net 76 for third. The win puts me at the top of the standings, but only 2.5 points ahead of Scooter in third. Full standings below. We had another new golfer join us this week, it was great to have Maurice Cork out with us for the first time. We hope to get Maurice back soon and often.
