Putting the text here for now to try and cut down on text in body of sent emails, as that may be causing some people to not receive the emails I send. Will try this for a couple weeks while I work on other solutions. Will also try to keep this writeup a bit shorter. Sorry. It was a hot one yesterday (FINALLY) as we shot it out on "other side of the river" at Fox Run. Sure, hail, high winds and torrential rain moved in and cleared us out of the clubhouse not long after we finished, but at least it didn't snow. Marty Ring was also "hot" as he shot a net 68 to take the win and all the first place points for the day. Scott Jacobs was right behind at net 69 for second, and Rick Larson at net 71 took third. There was a three way tie for fourth at net 72 between Charlie, Bradley and Jacob.. Good shooting all of you, I forgot how challenging some of those holes can be even though it is a relatively short course. Despite being one of the founding members of DefenderCup, the win is Marty's first since I took over keeping stats on the website six years ago. The win moves Marty up to 15th in the season standings, just 49 points behind Eric, who maintains his edge on the rest of the league. The rest of the top 5 are Tim, Aaron, Scooter and Jake. Other than Marty climbing up a bunch of spots, no major changes I think. In Gross golf, it was a three way tie for first yesterday between Charlie, Adam and Mark at 82. Fourth was Scott Jacobs at 83, and fifth was Marty at 86. Again, good shooting gentlemen, that wasn't easy. In Gross season standings, an absent Connor, Dave, Jake and Will maintain their lead of the rest of the field. Charlie did move up a good bit, now sitting in sixth but still 156 points behind Connor. Mark and Adam moved up a good bit as well, but nothing much else to speak of. Standings are likely to get sha
