Shoreline
07 Jul 2018
It was definitely a warm day, but not terribly hot, as DefenderCup competition made its way back to Shoreline, where we haven’t been in a few years. And it turned out to be a real competition as we had a 3-way tie for first. But, as in the Fedex Cup, there are no ties for first. So we rolled the 18-sided die to see which hole would be used to start the scorecard playoff. Ed Robinson was happy to see the number 8 show up, as he had a par (net birdie) on that hole to take the win. That left Money and myself sitting in the #2 spot. We all had net 71s. Honorable mention should also go to Scooter, who shot a net 72. We brought another golfer into the DefenderCup ranks. Mr. Ira Banks joined us this weekend, we hope to see him around more.
